easy cute hairstyle with ribbon and bow

There is sweet 60s vibe to this ribbon tied with a bow. The red looks great against dark hair and paired with naval blue and white stripes. Side swept bangs lead the eye to where the bow placed for maximum impact.

vintage bandana summer hairstyle

The bandana headband is a great look for straight, wavy and curly hair. Depicted here with long hair, this look would work for any length, even super short. Just add a few pins at the back to keep the ribbon, bandana, or scarf in place.

This rockabilly-inspired bandana hairstyle is so easy to do yourself.  First, fold the bandana into a triangle. Keep folding until it is one strip a few inches wide. Place the center under hair at the nape of your neck and pull the ends up behind ears and tie a knot at top of your head. You can choose to keep the knot centered or wear it to the side. If there as a lot of bandana left, tuck ends underneath. To keep the bandana in place, secure it with a few bobby pins.

long hair tied back with ribbon headband

This retro hairstyle is totally modern with one of the season’s hottest colors. Here’s the same look with a scarf tied into a big bow. You can wear the ribbon, bandana, or scarf off to side or in the middle, up high or down low. This scarf headband would also look great with the knot tied down low and to the side, with ends left loose and mingling with long waves.

This is a great look for keeping hair in place for summer so have fun playing with the bandana head band. Try out lots of different knots, bows, and patterns!
